I teach fifth grade all subject content in my hometown and understand the pressure and discomfort associated with the "new" curriculum being taught in schools. I've attended countless workshops over the last three years and am highly trained to teach elementary school math,language arts, science, and social studies. I graduated from Montclair State University's education program in 2012 and have been a teacher for the past 5 years. I know for a fact that I can get through to kids that other tutors cannot and I'm not hesitant to say it. With a combination of direct instruction, integration of technology (through math applications I employ), and a relaxed attitude, I believe I can majorly improve the vast majority of students.
